 Continuing Education

ASHA & WISCONSIN DPI

The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Communicative Disorders, is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. This program is offered for up to 1.8 Continuing Education Units (Advanced level: Basic Communication Processes area). ASHA CEU provider approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.

The State of Wisconsin, Department of Public Instruction has made changes in the way educator licenses are renewed. Chapter PI 34, Wisconsin Administrative Code, which went into effect July 1, 2004, does not include provisions for continuation of an Equivalency Clock Hours (ECH) program. Therefore, SRCLD can no longer offer ECHs for this symposium.
