Monona Terrace is a striking, 250,000 square foot meeting facility. Main
features include an exhibit hall, large ballroom, flexible meeting room space,
and multimedia auditorium. Other special amenities include a business center, a
gift shop, and expansive areas for registration and information needs. A good
portion of the interior upper floors are devoted to "public space." Monona
Terrace is an accessible facility.

Exhibition Hall
Exhibition Hall features floor-level loading docks, a 20 foot ceiling, and
drive-through truck access. The 37,200 square-foot hall can be divided into
east and west sections.

Madison Ballroom
The largest meeting space within Monona Terrace, the Madison Ballroom, offers
an elegant setting amid striking hand-crafted chandeliers. The ballroom can be
divided into four separate meeting areas.

The Grand Terrace
A wide, sweeping curve around the lake side of Monona Terrace provides some of
the most spectacular views of Lake Monona. The Grand Terrace provides wonderful
pre-function space for the Madison Ballroom, Hall of Ideas, and other rooms on
this level.

Lecture Hall
With a raised stage area and 308 permanent seats, the Lecture Hall is the
facility's primary center for presentations and screenings. The hall offers
rear-screen projection and the latest in multimedia technology.

William T. Evjue Rooftop Gardens
Offering sweeping vistas of Lake Monona, the Capitol, and downtown Madison, the
68,000 square foot garden atop Monona Terrace is the perfect spot for a
convention break, a family picnic, or a concert. A series of domed light
fixtures and decorative spires contribute to the building's magnificent
nighttime presence.
