 The Monona Terrace Convention Center

Monona Terrace is a striking, 250,000 square foot meeting facility. Main features include an exhibit hall, large ballroom, flexible meeting room space, and multimedia auditorium. Other special amenities include a business center, a gift shop, and expansive areas for registration and information needs. A good portion of the interior upper floors are devoted to "public space." Monona Terrace is an accessible facility.

Exhibition Hall

Exhibition Hall features floor-level loading docks, a 20 foot ceiling, and drive-through truck access. The 37,200 square-foot hall can be divided into east and west sections.

Madison Ballroom

The largest meeting space within Monona Terrace, the Madison Ballroom, offers an elegant setting amid striking hand-crafted chandeliers. The ballroom can be divided into four separate meeting areas.

The Grand Terrace

A wide, sweeping curve around the lake side of Monona Terrace provides some of the most spectacular views of Lake Monona. The Grand Terrace provides wonderful pre-function space for the Madison Ballroom, Hall of Ideas, and other rooms on this level.

Lecture Hall

With a raised stage area and 308 permanent seats, the Lecture Hall is the facility's primary center for presentations and screenings. The hall offers rear-screen projection and the latest in multimedia technology.

William T. Evjue Rooftop Gardens

Offering sweeping vistas of Lake Monona, the Capitol, and downtown Madison, the 68,000 square foot garden atop Monona Terrace is the perfect spot for a convention break, a family picnic, or a concert. A series of domed light fixtures and decorative spires contribute to the building's magnificent nighttime presence.
