SRCLD - Directions/Parking

Located in south central Wisconsin, Madison is easily accessible via several major highways.

1-1/2 hour drive from Milwaukee (via I-94 West)
2-1/2 hour drive from Chicago (via I-90 West)
4-1/2 hour drive from Minneapolis/St. Paul (via I-94 East)

Parking

Monona Terrace includes a 560-space parking structure. It is accessible via East Wilson Street (near the Capitol building) and the eastbound lanes of John Nolen Drive.

Directions

From the Dane County Regional Airport

Coming out of the Dane County Regional Airport, turn left at the stoplights onto Anderson. At the next set of lights, turn right onto Wright St. Take a right onto East Washington Ave (Hwy 151 South). Follow Highway 151 South toward the State Capitol. As you approach the Capitol Square, follow 151 South turning Left onto Blair Street. Take Blair Street 2 blocks and turn Right onto Wilson Street. From Wilson Street, just past Olin Terrace, turn Left into the Monona Terrace parking structure.

From the North

via Interstate 90/94 East
(Minneapolis, LaCrosse, Wausau, Stevens Point, Portage)

Take I-90/94 East to Highway 151 South heading toward the State Capitol. You will then be on East Washington Avenue (151 South). As you approach the Capitol Square, follow 151 South turning Left onto Blair Street. Take Blair Street 2 blocks and turn Right onto Wilson Street. From Wilson Street, just past Olin Terrace, turn Left into the Monona Terrace parking structure.

From the Northeast

via Highway 151 South
(Green Bay, Fox River Valley)

Follow Highway 151 South toward the State Capitol. Continue on 151 South (East Washington Avenue). As you approach the Capitol Square, follow 151 South turning Left onto Blair Street. Take Blair Street 2 blocks and turn Right onto Wilson Street. From Wilson Street, just past Olin Terrace, turn Left into the Monona Terrace parking structure.

From the East

via Interstate 94 West
(Milwaukee)

As you approach the city, follow Highway 30 into Madison. Take the "State Capitol" (151 South) exit off of Highway 30, and you will then be on East Washington Avenue (151 South). As you approach the Capitol Square, follow 151 South turning Left onto Blair Street. Take Blair Street 2 blocks and turn Right onto Wilson Street. From Wilson Street, just past Olin Terrace, turn Left into the Monona Terrace parking structure.

From the Southeast

via Interstate 90 West
(Chicago, Beloit, Janesville)

Exit onto Hwy 12&18 West (Beltline Westbound) toward Madison. Take the John Nolen Drive exit off the Beltline, and follow John Nolen 2 miles. Monona Terrace parking structure entrance will be on your Right just before the tunnel.

From the Southwest

via Highways 18 East & 151 North
(Dubuque, Platteville, Dodgeville)

As you approach Madison, enter the Beltline Eastbound (Hwy 12 & 18 East). Take the John Nolen Drive exit off the Beltline, and follow John Nolen 2 miles. Monona Terrace parking structure entrance will be on your Right just before the tunnel.
